I was miserable, days I couldn't get out of bed due to the lack of energy. On the days I did manage to get myself to the other side of the house to work I would be back in bed hours before the sun set. The anxiety attacks throughout the day were nearly paralyzing. Even though I hadn't changed my "healthy" eating habits the pounds just kept sneaking on.  Along with many other unexplainable symptoms.

It wasn't until a freak accident that I found a team of doctors who listened who confirmed I was without a doubt in perimenopause and sadly had a diagnosis of Hashimoto's that would heighten my symptoms. Not knowing which was causing what. 

I took matters into my own hands and lost 20 lbs. in 3 months by following anti-inflammatory eating habits, balancing my hormones and nervous system. This plan is exactly how I started my first week and I felt so good I actually wanted to keep up my new lifestyle.
